Hello all my Riley Readers, Stopping by for an update? 

Sorry I haven’t been back to update but we have been kind of crazy.  We had our first fundraiser for Riley in February we raised about $1,000.  Our next event is the Smile4Riley House Comedy Night at Harpers Pub in Clementon; check the Calendar of Events page for more information.

We have posted two wishes on Wishuponahero.com  you can find them by searching Smile4Riley.  Wish Upon a Hero has been a wonderful asset to Riley.  Dave & Ryan are sitting on our committee they help us with our Fundraising initiatives and bring lots of great ideas to the table.   They have helped us to set up the Smile4Riley Charity Builder Site on Wish which enables us to take credit card donations and enables us to offer tax deductible donations.  If you haven’t check out the Wish Upon a Hero site yet, I encourage you to do.  Everyone can be a Hero big or small and that is a great place to start.

 Now back to Riley, one of our fellow Charity Builder Friends sent me a message she wants to put together a Video Card and a Get Well Book for Riley.  Her hope is to get cards and pictures from all over the United States and the world.  So break out the markers and the crayons and show Riley how much we support and love him.  This is the message from “Brighter Days”

The book will be made up of pictures sent by people (like you!) from all over the world. You or your kids can draw something about their lives, state, or whatever but I would like each picture to read something along the lines of “(state/country name) is thinking of Riley”. I think it would be cool to show just how many people do care about him from across the world. The video will be just like the book, so if you don’t have the means to physically send a picture, you can take a picture of yourself holding up the sign you created and it will be put into our video for Riley’s website.  If you want to see a sample of the video take a look at this truly wonderful –

We are off and running to raise money to have Riley’s house re-built. Come and join us at one of our scheduled fundraisers (see the Calendar page) or make a donation on the donation page.

We are still holding out hope that Extreme Home Makeover may show up so be sure to sign our petition.

What we need right now. Cash donations, gift baskets or gift cards for our fundraisers, and if you are not from our area and want to help with our “Hero on Wheels” event we are looking for items from YOUR local Harley Davidson Dealer. T-shirts, hats, key rings items that have your local Harley’s stores name.
